The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) is the largest professional association devoted exclusively to gem and jewelry appraising. All NAJA members agree to abide by the Code of Ethics and accept assignments only for which they are fully qualified. NAJA appraisers are not permitted to charge a percentage of the appraised value and generally either charge on an hourly or per piece basis.
Membership categories are listed in accordance with the level of education achieved and experience in the industry - Senior Member, Member, and Candidate Member. All designations which have “Certified” in front indicates the member has achieved the highest educational designation in appraisal studies. Our members have many years of trade experience and we encourage you to ask about this in your interview.
NAJA takes great pride that our members highly dedicated in fulfilling their obligations to their clients; we encourage you to write to us and let us know about your experience with any of our members. All NAJA appraisers who wished to be listed are indexed in geographical order by state. Each appraiser's membership level is also shown.
This Directory lists members located in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U. S. Virgin Islands as well as Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Sweden.
Bolded blue names are linked to a website provided by the NAJA member. In some cases, the member refers the viewer to the website of the company they are employed by. In no case is the company a member of NAJA. NAJA only accepts individuals as members.
